I have two Hibiscus plants that I got as Mother’s Day gifts a few various years back. It’s a minor miracle that I’ve managed to keep them alive as long as I have. They spend the summers outside in the garden and I bring them in as soon as the temperatures drop. Now I won’t go so far as to say that they look lush and healthy...but every once in awhile the one I keep in the kitchen starts flowering. Even if it is a teeny tiny flower on a teeny tiny branch it is still a wonderful sign of hope that all things - including Winter in New England - can be endured! 😊
