Today we spent the day in Edinburgh and visited the National Museum of Scotland. This hallway runs parallel to the Grand Gallery. The tiles and mosaic patterns on the floor where really lovely. The exhibitions were both varied and fascinating covering the natural world, world cultures, art and design and science and technology - with Abi taking part in an InMotion workshop entitled 'make a move' learning how to programme a robotic arm and the technologies that are being utilised more and more in the advance of prosthetic limbs.
I was there in the first week of the holidays with Hazel. It has been beautifully refurbished, as your photo shows, I particularly like this view. Did you go up to the roof terrace?
