summer focus on quality time

At first I was annoyed that these two seemed to be frolicking around just in my line of view, as if they had no mind to progress from A to B. And why should they, as guests at a wedding, they were here to just be, and enjoy, and take some quality time. So I included them in my photo.

Somewhat experimental, but I was happy enough with the concept even if the framing isn't exactly as I would have designed it.
Oh Helen this is absolutely wonderful, If I was one the featured guests I would be delighted to have this as a memento of the special day

They definitely add atmosphere to this scene. So nicely in the back of that lovely captured water curtain.

I love it. Well spotted.

A great effect and enhanced by the couple in the image.

I actually think they make the shot intriguing and different from simply a raindrop window view.

Oh, Helen...I totally agree with Suzanne and Helen...this is a wonderful image! The water drops, the couple, and the background beyond the couple...it all comes together so perfectly! :-)

i think with their inclusion, no-one could be in doubt that this is a wedding! i just love the way her hat and bright spotty dress work in the blur, and we can still tell she's in high heels. we also get a hint at the grandeur of the setting, and some frozen water into the bargain. just a delight

Great photo! Works really well, love the composition.

This is just delightful Helen, you can see the people behind the water drops but you cannot make out their faces. This for me makes the picture so intriguing particularly as the body language of the man appears to be somewhat bored/stand offish. The spray from the fountain just gives the picture a magical quality.

What a great eye/mind you have.. i like the inclusion of the couple, especially as they are rendered blurred but with focus enough to draw conclusions regarding body language - another storyline.... the water from the fountain(?) is superb, adding yet another dimension/layer to this fab shot.

All is already said about this great shot.

Beautiful shot Helen. I like the way you focussed on the water drops, and blurred the wedding guests. Gives a lovely sense of intrigue. I'm glad they frolicked long enough for you to include them in your shot. Adds interest.

This shot immediately made me think of this popular American tune (forgive the goofy pictures on the video- I think yours is better!)

This is just great! I understand why you were annoyed - it would have made a great scenery without them. But now that they are included, it's a great storytelling, isn't it?
