In dedication to a lost friend (2)

Out walking yesterday, a rather large crowd of school girls from the local private school were crossing this bridge, on the wrong way to school. They seemed to linger at the side of the bridge as I was trying to take a photos whilst sitting on the edge of the river bank with legs hanging over the edge and camera stretched out over the water. It took me a while to realise that each and every one of these girls were in distress.

After considering my motives for a while, I stopped to speak to one of the older, more composed looking girls and to offer my sympathies. They had learned of the loss of a friend that morning.

I didn't get the photo I wanted of an uninterrupted span of the bridge reflected in the water.I would have landed in the river before doing so. I'm posting two - the other in my main album - as I can't decide which I prefer.
Think I like the other one - more water. But you see more of the beautiful bridge in this one.

Both are quite lovely, and the narrative is simply so so sad.

I think they are somewhat equal for the reasons Maggie pointed out. Both are nice shots too.

I prefer this one. The bridge symbolizes the connection of our world and those who left, and the reflections are the memory of those who left.

Both images are lovely . . . I agree with Maggie's comment about them both.

Nice, but prefer the other.

Love those reflections.
