Just a short walk away from the town centre is Bedford Cemetery. As I went for a brief walk at lunchtime with my camera today, it felt like I was entering into the secret garden as I passed through the cemetery gates into a world of undergrowth and bird song.
Graveyards can be so interesting. Some of the wording remains on the stones, I'm always amazed how old some can be. Great shot!

@daisyditch there is plenty more exploring to do at this cemetery. There were indeed words still visible, but on the other side of this particular stone. Thank you for your comment.

@tristansmum It is most kind of you to say so. I'm finding that many ordinary scenes can look good with the right angle and framing. I long for the patience and time to learn better technical skills. Thanks for your encouragement Stephanie.
