Sad to say, I have struggled today. So here is something more warming than the grey windy scenes outside. The rolls were baked on Friday, and fresh out of the oven. Wonderful smell, and best eaten fresh. Part of my weekly routine - I make enough for everyone's lunches throughout the week (usually wholemeal but this batch was to give away) and they go straight to the freezer until needed. A cheat post, yes, but it does represent what I would usually be doing at some time on a Sunday afternoon/evening.
Oh my goodness, these look wonderful. It is my lunchtime now - I so wish I could have one of these with my meal. :-) Great capture! I really like them displayed on parchment paper with the natural drizzling of flour . . . conveys the "fresh out of the oven" element.
@dizzyd@gaylewood@flowerfairyann (you are welcome - and thank you for the follow back) @paulmann thank you all. I've just made lunch for tomorrow with today's batch. Your comments, as always, most appreciated.
Aside from the fact this shot makes my mouth water, I love the warm tones and composition. I bet the recipients of this batch were thrilled with their gift.
