magnificent magnolia

I took the same strategy today of pointing my camera upwards. Yesterday I saw magnolia buds and thought how bold, yet today when I looked the buds were becoming flowers. I'm not so sure about the background on this one but I'm short on time today, so it is post and be done!
Can't believe you have magnolias coming out already. This mild winter is playing havoc with the usual flowering times. Pretty capture and I like the rooftops behind.

@flowerfairyann Yes it does seem crazy and the air now is colder than it has been all winter, so I worry for them. Thank you Ann.

I love your attitude Helen. This is a wonderful shot, those buds are beautiful. And I really like the background, the pattern is so delicate it works for me.

Love your focus on the magnolia and the light through the petals of the one that's open.
