Spiral stair at Wellcome 2

Today, I offer my other shot from the Wellcome museum in Euston Road, London at the weekend. At least I can offer a link as two of my work colleagues are there today for a conference. I, on the other hand have been in the office - making an application for a free website for our charity and making some changes to our existing website. There were some moments of creativity at either end of the day - garlic bulbs, children walking to school, and the sun setting under the bridge as I walked home, but somehow, the ideas didn't hit the lens quite well enough to present to you.
I like the leading lines taking you up, so welcoming.

Fabulous image, Helen! You captured so many interesting visual elements in one image! Fav!

Helen, I do enjoy your shots and what you say about them. You express yourself well in both words and pictures. I I love the pov and comp and curving lines and light and starbursts in this, fav for me. This must be the place where you almost shot a group of people, but were spotted, and didn't continue? I have done that, I'm not always brave! Whether I go ahead or not depends on various things--how the person or people look (annoyed? angry? tolerant? delighted?), how daring I'm feeling, how much I want the shot--lots of variables. I am getting a bit braver, I think, as I do more street photography, and I do very much enjoy it.

This is a superb angle on this wonderful stairwell. I like the part-side, part-up ("oblique"?) view you've taken - very creative
