A chord of three strands

To walk along the river bank going East from my house I pass under an old railway bridge which is often dark, gloomy and muddy but have been waiting for the right time to show off some of the graffiti which sometimes looks cheery and sometimes dreary, depending much on my own outlook at the time. Today, a dangling piece of rope caught my attention as I looked up from the muddy path beneath. As I noticed it unwound from the bottom, It got me thinking about relationships and how they can gradually and without drama, become unwound until there is little strength left in them.
I like this image! Nice colors and lines! What you wrote about the dangling piece of rope and relationships got me thinking about saving damaged relationships and how difficult that can be, although not impossible if the intent and desire is strong enough. Maybe one day I'll come to Bedford and we can have tea and discuss some of these topics. :-)

I love the pov you chose for this, also the colours, textures and dof. Interesting symbolism too, and interesting that you should have seen and thought about it in that way.
