A better view

Happy Easter Everyone. Thank you so much for being part of my project and popping in to look and comment. You are all so encouraging. I always try to follow as many as I am able and although it sometimes takes me a few days and I don't always comment, I do always love your photos.

So today I spent cooking. Challenged by a last minute gluten free and vegan guest for Easter Sunday, I spent rather more time in the kitchen than planned. All turned out well and we have had a lovely family meal together, with father-in-law and new girlfriend as additions. You could have had a shot of basil leaves, or of lamb, but I have chosen to revisit yesterday. This woman had a perfect view of proceedings at the Passion Play although my guess is that someone's shoulders are rather sore today.
It looks like you had a lovely lunch. Nice shot

They all seem to be looking in different directions except the centre man who is looking at you (& the man with the specs).

@paulmann this is true. They are on the periphery of the crowd and the only one that can actually see the action is the girl in red. Some of the actors are amongst the crowd. I'm standing on a wall but still can't see that much.

Fantastic street shot! Love all the different faces and expressions! The blonde with the red coat makes me smile. She's definitely having a fun time! :-)

@gaylewood thanks Gayle. She was indeed having fun. You would have thought she was at a pop festival.

That guy with the baseball cap is looking straight into the lens ! That is the kind of thing that unnerves me about taking candid shots !

She really stands out in her red coat.

@dizzyd I agree Helen, although I feel more comfortable with a camera at a public event where people are generally taking photos and press are out taking photos, so it doesn't seem so intrusive. This was a public event and so I felt OK about it.

@flowerfairyann she does - that is what drew me to her - and the fact that she was more visible than the play!

Great crown shot, and I agree about the shoulders. I love the expressions on the faces here, especially the woman's face in the lower right corner!
