Puddle games

There were a good number of birds competing for a bathe in the puddle here at the edge of the park play equipment. Too wet and dull for the children to be out, but the blackbirds and various other species seemed to be having fun.

Regrettably, I have had to put the processing filters to work again in order to get something that I am happy to post. I wasn't able to go any closer to the puddle for fear of scaring all the birds away, and the light conditions meant that a hand held shot of fast moving objects was a little too challenging for me.

Thank you to all of you who keep visiting my project and its variable output. I appreciate you all.
Well spotted & captured. Especially like the reflection.

I love to watch birds bathe in puddles. It's a rare opportunity here as the birds keep a wide berth of our garden due to the pups. This a happy, homey shot.

I like the processing which has given the picture an almost painterly look & possibly enhanced the colours. Lovely composition too.

POV adds tension and balance. That and the processing took this to the next level.

At least you caught them! A good interaction between the tow birds, and you have chosen your processing sympathetically. Well done!
