wooden bowl #2

I'm joining a few other late entrants to the macro wood challenge because I took a number of wooden bowl macros a couple of days ago and failed to load any. it seems a shame that the challenge is at an end as I was really enjoying studying the patterns of grain in wood - but then there is nothing to stop me continuing I guess.

I am very fond of this elegant and unique wooden bowl and am sharing just a corner of it with you.
The horizontal lines in the wood are really intriguing as to how it has been made!

I like this, Helen, but would love to see the whole bowl sometime.

Lovely detail Helen, it's nice you can focus on something (like macro wood for the challenge) and really study it...

That is a really nice detail shot... well done.

Interesting shot Helen. I like the lines around it. Perhaps we might see the whole bowl at some point?

@maggiemae @onewing @moonmtn @gaylewood @ethelperry @kerosene @kandkids @flowerfairyann thank you for your interest and comments. I have eleven squares depicting different parts of the bowl, but none of the whole. I will give that a go sometime in daylight but as this was for the macro challenge, you got the close up view.

I really like the way you have composed this shot, and the curve of the bowl with the square edges of the image frame. Excellent.
