I took this across the boating lake as the yellows in the trees were so vibrant and full of patterns. It was a few days ago but pretty well represents my ventures out and about this afternoon. All around is dominated by the changing leaf colours and shapes. It is a full sensory experience walking out with crunching beneath my feet and the sound of rustling in the branches. The movement, as leaves free-fall, twisting and twirling, on their unpredictable route to the ground. The Autumn smell of damp foliage and the crisp fresh air on my skin.
Yet the world seemed to be indoors. I had it all, almost, to myself.
There is a 'bit' of processing here - to bring out the contrasts and textures.
Fabulous golden image, Helen! As always, I love your narrative. Reading it, I felt like I was right there with you, surrounded by the golden trees. Fav! :-)
@onewing thankyou - the shades are very complimentary. I don't always think that about the Autumn colours but this year I am enjoying all of the colour together.
