I spent a full morning in the North at a nature reserve squirrel spotting spot, waiting to see red squirrels one year. They did not oblige.
I'm beginning to warm to grey squirrels now - although I know I shouldn't. They have more red in their coat than I remember, and I thought perhaps this one had got a special Autumn coat as he seemed to match the Autumn colours so very well in this little picnic spot that he had found.
I added a touch of spot light to brighten the picnic spot here. The leaves were already well lit but it has helped to bring out the subject in what were very dull lighting conditions.

Brilliant. We have squirrels (grey ones) all over the place at work, and they are such slippery creatures, and I'm never quick enough to catch a shot of them. Well done, this is just great.
