Cambodia: window at Angkor Wat

Another from our day at the temples - described here:

This one was taken inside Angor Wat, the most famous and the largest place of worship in the world. There are some big disappointments in the photos I took - mainly due to the excessively strong light, but just here, the light was perfect!
That heavy stone floor must be wonderful to stand on!

Love this, esp how the spindles look on the floor between the patches of light

@maggiemae Yes - especially with the heat outside
@janemartin thank you Jane. Lovely patterns of light all through the temple
@wag864 thank you Kas
@helenm2016 yes such a delightfully strong pattern
@moonmtn thank you. I just about managed to catch the complete window beams of light into the composition
@onewing thanks Babs - I had to be quick to avoid the crowds
@taffy @Jerome yes - the light does all the work as always.

That light really is wonderful. It can be frustrating with travel photography as it often hard to be at places when the light is the best.
