Frosted emergence of spring by helenhall

Frosted emergence of spring

The down side of going everywhere with a camera is how easily one can be diverted from schedule. The heavy frost and sunshine emerging this morning meant that despite being en route to the gym, I got carried away with opportunities before me. Missed class ....woops!

I do have a busy schedule today and so thought if I posted my first pick of the bunch now, that will save me hours agonising over what to post later. I was quite pleased that I felt no need to crop this, or do anything other than nudge the exposure up a tiny bit.

As I took it, the birds were singing, the sun shining and dare I say it, there was a definite air of spring being on the way. Right. Now off to attend to more mundane matters ......

PS I have added a lighter angle on the scene here:

You've really captured the ice cold winter sun! They will all be so beautiful when they open.....so many of them.

Love these light contours and glitter in the sun. I can look at such a very long time.

Perfect lighting on the frosted daffodil leaves Helen. Definitely worth missing the gym for - it'll still be there tomorrow but the frost might be gone.
