There is a spot on the weir where swans ducks and geese quite like to hang out in ones and twos just letting the water run through their webbed feet and perhaps doing a bit of pruning, and watching. I'm always excited when I see the heron there as the footbridge crossing the weir gives a great viewing position.
Today it was just this Canada goose. I had no time for lingering, so took a quick shot and left him to it.
