I had such a good response to my golden hour heron shots. I'm not a good judge of what others will think of my photos and it is always a lovely surprise when one brings in so many comments and 'favs'. Thank you all so much.
I thought I would post the last from my walk on that evening. Taken from the town suspension bridge looking down towards town, with St Paul's church spire marking the site near the new development that has occurred along the river and which houses Wagamamas - all ready to open with its newly trained staff. Is now a good time to confess that through a series of misjudgement/blunders or good fortune - depending on how you look at it - I ended up with two sets of four tickets for free meals during the two day training period before the restaurant opens? Today I had lunch there with three others from the office. Can't complain!
This is lovely Helen, and looks great viewed on black. I am always amazed at the generosity and encouragement of people on this site. It's a wonderful community.
Beautiful colours on the silhouette of the church, I especially like the wake of swans , well I think they are swans! I hope Wagamamas was a little more sedate at lunch
@okc553 Tom, this is taken from the suspension bridge in Bedford, looking back towards the town centre. many of my shots are taken near this stretch of the river which is a stone's throw from my house (if you are a particularly good stone thrower!)
