Hues of Massachusetts

This is the last gap in my October calendar - it having taken me six weeks to catch up after a two week absence!

We visited specifically at the time of fall but the colours were not as expected. We did find some, here and there, and so Im leaving for now with this memory.

I struggled with the bright light which flooded out my camera lens when not welcome. So I have a lot of photos with whited out areas and a blurry look. This, I have retrieved as best I can. I loved the typical barn structure in amongst the matching trees.
So you use your EV at all - good to reduce the light when necessary? Some beautiful colours here!

@maggiemae yes I do change the aperture and speed and ISO but sometimes I still get too much light. I have been thinking that I need to change the setting which measures the light in one area only, to one that measures light across the whole frame. I forget about that setting.

do love me a barn/knackered rustic establishment. especially one with splotches that match the colour of the tree standing behind. wondered if perhaps you might want to tag for eye of the beholder 90?

@pistache thank you for the suggestion Clare. Taken outside the time for the challenge though.
