I thought I would just squeeze in an additional abstract into the challenge, since I have had such fun with it. I need to learn to take less shots, because the editing time - just choosing which to work with and which to discard - is ridiculous. In the case of this little weir, every shot made a slightly different work of art and I just liked them all!
But I will leave alone with this one.
I'm not finding time to thank you for all of your comments and viewings at the moment. Know that you are appreciated greatly.
Another beautiful and captivating abstract image! Interesting to read Suzanne's comment of seeing someone shrouded in chiffon...I had a similar thought when I first viewed the photo. :-)
It is beautiful, I love the colours, quite magical. I think I would crop the top lighter section out of the shot though and leave the beautiful colours in the bottom section. Love the van Gogh colours. a beautiful abstract. I could see this as a canvas on a wall.
@janemartin thank you Jane. The colours took me back to the same spot for a second time with my camera. @suzanne234 you are right. I saw the face below, but there is a mysterious face at the top that is actually pretty clearly defined, despite being shrouded. Good spot. @pistache thanks Clare. Most of the intrigue spotted after shooting rather than before. @gaylewood I never saw to begin with but now that I do, I find it fascinating. Thank you for your kind comment. @onewing thanks for giving your views on the crop. Now that I have seen the face at the top, I would find it difficult to cut it off - but I can see that your suggestion is quite valid. @carolmw thank you Carol. @ivan Maybe I will try blowing it up on to canvas. I wonder who would want that for Christmas!
