You are spared my ramble, as I just left the page whilst editing to look something up, and lost the lot.
So, the basics:
I'm covering three challenges in one. It is my piano and my harmonica. I have a new record label called shades of life. And I am playing (as if ...) the rif in Billy Joel's Piano Man ...
Listen, and enjoy .... I hope you will understand why I called this Shades of Life.
Album Cover Artsits picked: Akiko Noma - a back up vocalist
Quote - I have lost because I closed down all the windows thinking I was finished with them, but it ended with ... "shoot me in my absence"
Date shown on photo is from the background texture layer. The other two photos were taken today.
perfect piggybacking! the album challenge, of course! (I might take a page out of your book as I am a photo or so short for the week. I love the expression on your face, good capture of a faraway-feeling moment, which is where music sometimes takes us
Nice photo and I enjoyed the music. Not sure I fully understand as I'm not familiar with challenges, not for me on 365. But I get the general idea. I too have more than once lost text in the same way!
Great photo for your three challenges! Piano Man is one of my all time favorite songs. I saw Billy Joel and Elton John together in concert a while back . . . my favorite of the evening was when they sang Piano Man together. I found a YouTube video of them singing the song together, not from the concert unfortunately but from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (I thought of you with this video because Billy Joel is playing the harmonica) . . . https://youtu.be/fcYSSYnf_l8
i even like this one better. it's an awesome album cover, helen. however, i wished that instead of the billy joel video, you'd have graced us with your own harmonica playing. i so envy you with your harmonica and piano talent.
@gaylewood thank you for looking this out for me. Must have been a great concert to see. I'm sorry I don't always reply to your comments, of course they are always much appreciated.
