I was out taking my camera for a walk early this morning, and I was delighted with all the bird song around me. I'm usually neither patient nor clever enough to find a singing bird, but this morning I was successful in spying three different birds after hearing their song. This one was tucked away in the tall reeds, but I managed to find an angle to catch him. Can anyone tell me what it is?
I have been trying to follow the 'shoot as if you had a film in the camera' prompt, and was certainly more careful in not snapping away carelessly as soon as I see something interesting. Although I confess, it was my first time out with the camera - just because - for a while, and I was a little over excited at times.
Catching up on 365 has been a struggle these last days, and I have prioritised getting my photos done over viewing and commenting - which feels rather selfish. Usually I will stay up late and spend hours on this, but I am suffering with some kind of rsi and so am having to restrict myself.
Sorry my friends. I hope to find a way sooner or later.
Wonderful capture and beautifully framed. I am in a similar boat with huge gaps in May and the beginning of this month, with very few worthy photos available to plug the gaps. Hope the rsi improves soon.
such a fab shot! i love the natural framing and the focus is wonderful. i find it soooooo difficult to photograph birds - hats off to you. very sensible to prioritise your images and just comment when you can. i have a similar rsi issue, which i think comes from too much playing in photoshop/lightroom :(
This is a fantastic shot of a reed warbler. They are very difficult to photograph as they stay so low in the reeds and I often hear them but can’t see them Fav
