Festival Blur

One every two years, some 300,000 people descend on the part of Bedford town where I live for the River Festival. For two days, the Embankment and local park is flooded with food outlets, throbbing with live bands, buzzing with excitement and promises all the fun of the fair and excitement of river parades, road parades, demonstrations and a host of other activities.

It has to either be embraced, or escaped by the local residents.

I took a wonder around in the hot summer afternoon yesterday, and although I had left it until 6pm, it was still stifflingly hot and busy, with the result that everything seemed a bit of a blur and I couldnt focus on one thing or another. So here you have a representation of the same. I dont think it works particularly well, but having made the effort, I'm posting it.
I bet there is a lovely buzz about town

Crikey! I'd find that difficult to cope with.
