It was rather late in the day when I decided to go with the Abstract theme for August. And as I didn't want to set off on the wrong footing, I had precisely 15 minutes left of the day to come up with something for the 1st.
The selfie mode of my phone came in handy for this one.
i was going to go for abstract, too, for the month but i balked at the last minute. i seem to not have the time for my photography these days i've been digging through my old photos. this is rather clever, Helen. aces!
A really interesting pattern, what a great abstract. I looked at it on black before I read what you had written and I agree it does look good on black.
this is gorgeous, I love the symmetry and all the black on it. I wish it didn't have the rectangular white frame because perhaps it would look more striking when looking at it in the all black black ground
@summerfield finding time is one of my biggest challenges - for anything @toinette I did - but I have used this spot before to take a photo, so it was a pretty safe bet - only had to find the right object to put under the light. @Dawn Thank you Dawn @maggiemae - I will take that as good enough ! thank you. @onewing thanks Babs for your comment. The light is great.
