A day trip on Saturday took me to the head quarters of Amnesty International which is in a part of London with which I am unfamiliar. Strange to think that when I worked in City Road in my younger days I did so little exploration.
It was painful not to be able to explore much on foot as I was with a group travelling and we were running late for the event. At the other end of the day, I met up with my cousin and at my request we walked to Brick lane as I had never been before, and then it was bar hopping until we ended up in a Vietnamese restaurant. One of those times when you really need some time on your own with the camera. The only photos I took all day were at couple at St Pancras station before catching the train home. So here is one of these - a detail from the 9m bronze sculpture by Paul Day, called "The meeting place"
