A moment of reverence by helenhall

A moment of reverence

Although my destination on Saturday was Cadogan Hall, I fortuitously decided to get off the underground at Green Park and walk through the parks to get there. I was blissfully unaware that the two lines that would have got me to Sloane Square were both closed in any case. Here at the Canada memorial, this young boy was playing - not strictly according to the request for reverence posted on the nearby notice. But he did pause for a short while, to take in the sight of the water flowing over the inset maple leaves on the memorial.
A beautiful composition with such strong use of the lines formed by the memorial and the banks.

There is something so peaceful about watching the flow of water and this little boy is enjoying being in his own world.
