Arresting the advance of Spring

It was a heavy frost this morning, rather than the promised snow. And still now, the snow has not delivered. Temperatures are sub zero, but nothing to complain about compared to those in the throws of the polar vortex.

That polar vortex must be crippling! A frost is nice because it generally means a fine day!

Seems that the weather is extreme everywhere. But then it's nothing new- we just report about it more now. Good shot- especially the lighting.

Oh wow this looks so cold. We have had a few weeks of temperatures in the high 30s and low 40s C here, today the temperature has dropped to 23 degrees and I thought that was cold.
