62, uninvited

There we were, enjoying our al fresco lunch and watching the blue tits and blackbirds going back and forth attending to their young when M asks what is that scratching noise?

Soon, this young chap of the rattus norvegicus variety put his head through the tiles and slabs we have stored down the side of our conservatory and scurried back and forth, making a bold and frightening attempt to scale the wall at the side of the house at one point.

Sorry mate, you are not welcome here.
I know they are vermin , but I can't help thinking he has such a lovely little face!

I nearly put lovely image. Oooops. Lovely capture maybe.
Nicely sharp.
Now you need to focus on removing him and any family from future close encounters.

Nice shot they are rather cute but definitely to be discouraged! They climb well too, I have to bring my bird feeders in at night now because rats were climbing the trees and raiding them!

I had to stop feeding the birds, they somehow found their way into the loft - several times. I was on first name terms with Pest Control ...

Cute but definitely not wanted- well except maybe for a picture. Now that you have it, I'm sure his days are numbered! Good shot!
