As it is the season of goslings, ducklings and cygnets - I thought I would try and bring a few of these over the next couple of days - just another of those standards that need to make an appearance each year in the project as a marker of the passing of the seasons.
The innocent fluffy little gosling here, will grow up to be a Canada goose. There are so many of them around us that I don't know how they are all going to fit into the river space. There is a notice at the bottom of our street (which is where the river passes) asking people not to feed the geese as we are just a little over populated.
No lockdown for this little fellow and his brothers and sisters. They were roaming all over.
Very nicely captured with all these daisies all around. It must be a great sight by the river when you talk about so many Canada geese. I'm really looking forward to more pictures!
