A blustery sort of day

I create a new folder for each month when I download images and never before have I got through so much of the month without any reason to create the folder.

Well today I had meant to get out with the camera but it was wet, and dull and things indoors were beckoning to be done.

So I opened the bedroom window and took this. The tree was moving around quite a lot, so I wanted to represent that movement and decided on an additional motion blur applied in photoshop.

Not much to shout about, but it was good to pick up the camera for a minute and get lost in composition and appreciation.

Getting lost in composition and appreciation certainly does lift the spirit, doesn't it? The cheerful yellow here also lifts the spirit, and I love how you accentuated the movement.
