The moon shines over meadow lane gravel pits

what a joy it is to have a few carefree days at home to potter, and wander and relax.

Yesterday we took advantage of the sunshine, and set out in the morning to explore the flooded landscape around us. We found ourselves still out as the moon shone and the sun set, forgoing lunch to just enjoy being outdoors and observing our avian friends making the most of the extensive water cover.
