Aspiration

Not happy with any of the pics from today so here's another one from yesterday's visit to the Emirates Stadium. This apparently depicts Ken Friar playing football as a youngster in 1945. His association with Arsenal began at the age of 12 as a part-time messenger and ended as managing director 60 years later. He was awarded OBE in 2000 for services to football.

This is a charming sculpture with the subject dressed as a I suppose a schoolboy would have been dressed back then.
