Boat detail and bend

The front of a narrowboat seems an awfully long way from the engine and steering gear at its rear, especially when it is being steered into a bend.

I took this shot because I especially loved the shape of the metal "chock" with the rope running through it.
Love this looks great in B&W must be good fun?

@kerosene Know exactly what you mean. Some of the most interesting and engaging shots I see on this site are of "nothing" really. That's such an intriguing phenomenon in itself.
