After a long, cold winter, Spring finally seems to have taken hold here. One advantage of the unusually cold weather has been that the snowdrops are only now starting to fade and give way to crocuses and daffodils. I photographed this one yesterday (minor cheat there, I know) still blooming in the woods. I love the way the sun seems to be shining out from the petals, like a miniature art deco standard lamp!
Helen, this is so beautiful! It actually reminds me of the flowers you see in Alice in Wonderland (one of my favorite movies). You are incredibly talented, and I love looking at your work.
