Timothy At Dusk

Today didn't start out too well. I was trying to be efficient and move all my photos off my hard disk on to the back-up server to make more space. Somehow I ended up deleting them all instead. And I've done something untoward to iPhoto so it won't import anything from my camera either. Oops with a capital oo. But, things did improve. My dear hubs tells me that all the photos are backed up somewhere else already due to an automatic off-site back-up system he's installed ( I told you I didn't just marry him for his wisteria-pruning prowess!). And in the meantime I can upload pictures from my phone.
So here is a picture I took this evening, walking the dogs across the meadows near Willingham while Will was at goalkeeper training. The light was fading so I thought I'd d try a silhouette. Who's Timothy? That's the name of this type of grass (learned from Mum and Dad who know these things!).
Sytse says, "Yummmmm" Timothy Hay is one of his favorites. Sorry about your computer issues. Sounds like your husband is as trusting of them as I am, I have an automatic back-up system through a provider as well as my back-up system at home.
Please let your husband know that I want all of his secrets to growing wisteria! I love it and as soon as my house hunting is complete, that's the first thing to get planted.

Oh Helen, you give me heart failure! I'm glad you've got Saint Hubby there to save your day and your photos!

You certainly scared me there for a minute...oh, to loose all your pictures would be devastating!! Glad they are OK! And Timothy is lovely! PS - my grandson is a keeper too!

looks a bit short in the stem to be Timothy, Helen. More likely to be Yorkshire Fog I think - especially this early in the season.

AS you might have guessed Dad made that comment i am sure you know a Timothy when you see one ,I think it is a Timothy !

Hmm! I thought so! I'll have to go back and have another look. It looks short in the stem because of the perspective - I was trying to be artistic there! I don't think it's Yorkshire fog, though - not pinky and fluffy enough!

Hi Timothy!! I was only telling Beth the other day how Gramps knows all the names of grasses and weeds, do you think he might be making them up , he'll be saying 'ah this one is David' or 'Ah this one is Robert!' I mean who called this grass Timothy and why??? Oh nice photo!
