While Will was at his drum lesson I walked along the road to the Fitzwilliam Museum. They currently have a collection of contemporary sculptures in the garden, including this one, title Two, by Rob Ward. The beautiful mirror-polished stainless steel globe sits on top of a high post (not sure how high - but very!) and reflects the classic facade of the museum and the street opposite. Today it also reflected the blazing sun in a clear blue sky, and me standing on the lawn taking the picture. Apart from the sculptures, I also discovered a lovely outdoor cafe area tucked around the side of the museum that I'd never noticed before... didn't have time to stop today but will definitely be going back to investigate soon....
