I went into Cambridge this afternoon with a shopping list consisting of (1) an emergency blanket for a Duke of Edinburgh camping expedition, (2) plaster of paris, balsa wood and green scouring pads for a scenery modelling project, (3) a wall map of North America circa 1800 for a school project on the Lewis and Clark expedition, (3) saxophone reeds, (4) wicket-keeper gloves, (5) Book 4 of the Cherub series and (5) chicken pieces and sausages for a barbeque. None of these items were for me (well, except a quarter of the BBQ provisions). My family need a personal shopper! One of the few things not on my list was copper saucepans, but I liked the look of these hanging up against the clear blue sky. They are displayed outside a pub called The Cookhouse.
what a great find! those pots looks so pretty against the blue sky! and you have quite a shopping list, definitely not the usual list i have when i go to the grocery store! :)
I Love this sign! I just sent your link to friends who have a passion for cooking (and have the good pots to go with it!) In the states, we'd call you a "gopher" (go-for) with everyone's lists in hand... Glad you had a little time for yourself and got such a nice and unique picture!
Now that is one unusual shopping list...we just have boring lists here in the states! LOL I think once I spotted this pub I might have changed my mind about shopping for so many odd things and instead stopped in for a beer :-}}}
They look great against that sky! This list sounds like the 'I went to Paris' game, did you have a list written down, if so that'd be cheating, way too easy!! Did you manage to get everything??
failed on the map! We had to print one out from internet! And the craft materials were a problem since the art shop was closed! Apart from that, I did quite well!
Fancy failing to get the map ,still can't be perfect all the time. Iv'e just been very bad and put a pic. Richard took of Snowy.I was about to change it feeling guilty but already had some comments!
