On the way home from picking up the car from its MOT at the garage today (it passed - and they even cleaned it for me too, which is quite a feat given the geological strata of mud, dog hair and chocolate that coats the inside of my car!) I stopped off at our favourite fish and chip shop and picked up our dinner! It seemed only right that we should dine on this traditional English fare on the night of the second England World Cup match - a feeling that the owners of this fish and chip shop obviously share! Only ten minutes to kick-off!
It had to happen! Someone in this house (who shall remain nameless) has downloaded a vuvuzela (sp?) app onto their iPhone and is now using it to summon the masses to watch the match!
