Another very busy day. This evening I wandered out into the garden during half-time of the Spain-Germany World Cup Semi-final for a peaceful moment. This is my favourite part of the garden. Imaginatively, we call it "The Stone Garden" - because the borders are covered in stones (or rather pebbles). The sweet peas have got a bit carried away with themselves and so has the clematis, which takes over when the wisteria finishes flowering. The astrolabe on the wooden post featured in my alphabet challenge back in February - it was covered in snow on a bitterly cold day. It was so hard to imagine then that summer would soon be here and the garden would be full of flowers again...
