Architecture...with knobs on

Everyone was busy this afternoon...Ed was at a football tournament with the under 7 football team he helps to coach and Will went to play with a friend before band practise, and Mac was catching up on old Star Trek episodes, so I cycled into Cambridge to catch a little of the Big Weekend festival on Parkers Piece; there was lots of live music and food stalls and a fairground and the whole town was buzzing with people enjoying the sunshine. As for photographs, I was spoilt for choice - there was so much going on. Then I remembered the Architecture theme, so thought I should take a picture of the ludicrously ornate towers of Kings College - which always look spectacular against a blue sky. There was a busker playing amn energetic drum solo on a full drum kit right outside the Chapel when I first arrived but I couldn't get a good photo as he was surrounded by a crowd of other people trying to do the same!
Stunning- reminds me of the duomo in Milan. I didnt realise you had a Mac too :)

Just amazing that you can hop on your bike and go find a shot like this! All you'd see from me is the local super market or gas station!
