Tonight was the opening night of Will's end of year school play - a musical version of The Tempest. He played Gonzalo. I've still not got my head round the plot of The Tempest, but I think he's a good guy! The play was fabulous but I was unsure about posting a picture with other people's kids on stage, so I chose this one; a shot of the screen on the camera of the proud Dad in the seat in front of me whose lovely daughter was in a starring role.
This is Will's last year before moving up to Secondary. It is a small school; only 13 children in his year group; they have all been friends since they were 3 or 4. I'm going to be doing a lot more weeping before the end of term next week!
Oh, and I haven't managed to leave the dogs anywhere today!
Great way to get around the posting of other kids' pics...nice shot...just keep those tissues handy...wonder why parents tear up but kids smile through it all!?
My Son is going to secondary school after the summer also. The thought alone is making me feel soooooo old!
Fantastic choice for your picture Helen :o)
