On our first evening at the boat I took photos of the swans in the marina but the light was fading and they weren't very good. So I've cheated and decided to use this photo I took a couple of days later - same swans, just a better light; and hey, look at these two, they would NOT be happy being shown the world in anything less than the best possible light. Here, the male is just making sure that any common riff-raff such as humans and dogs keep an appropriately deferential distance from their royal majesties.
They do look very proud of themselves, great capture!!!! I'll have to get some swan shots done, there are hundreds here, just round the corner in the sea, we call it Swan-sea and then up the road is Swan-lake, again hundreds of them, I like hearing them fly over head......
