Remembrance Sunday

As early start this morning as Will's scout pack joined many other groups to parade from the British Legion to the war memorial in Histon for a special service. It was very moving with all the flags and the marching; right through from veterans, to sea cadets to boys' brigade, down to the tiniest brownies and beavers. The sun even came out during the outdoor service and wreath-laying ceremony. Here are the vicar conducting the service and the well-decorated parade sergeant (if that's the right title?).
Hope Will had a good parade! Those medals suit this sergeant well!

I've just been corrected by my knowledgeable husband. He's a captain, not a sergeant. The man in the photo, that is, not Mac.
