Things are definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas - and sound and taste a lot like Christmas too. This afternoon Will and I made mince pies. I haven't had time to make mincemeat this year but luckily still had a couple of jars left in the pantry from last year. We took some mince pies to the carol concert Will was performing in this evening at Little Eversden Church, playing drums in the junior brass band. The band played fantastically well.
They do look good - don't think I've ever had them though! Cold weather and Christmas carols always bring out the baker in me. Hope my baking shots are as good as this one!
