Christmas Dinner by helenmoss

Christmas Dinner

Mac carves the Christmas turkey. Usually we have goose but this year we hadn't ordered one as we were planning to be away, so it was the more traditional turkey instead. Also on the menu, roast potatoes and carrots brussels sprouts (of course!), yorkshire puddings (not really traditional but we have them with any kind of roast meat) and Christmas pudding (plum pudding) with ice cream. In keeping with family tradition we waited until after dinner to open our presents, although we didn't make the kids do the washing up first - must be going soft!

Happy Christmas!
Looks lovely! Your placemats look nice.

looks like a great turkey, our roast chicken was about a tenth of the size but was big enough, and we didn't, I'm afraid, have brussel sprouts! But we did as per Moss tradition make the kids wait until after dinner for present opening, we even used the classic "perhaps we should save them for next year" line many times.
