Is it just me or is this tree waiting with outstretched arms and an impish grin for a passing tree-hugger to cuddle up to?
It's only Day 2 of 2011 and I'm cheating already because this photo was taken yesterday, walking the dogs along the Clopton Walk near Arrington. I was all lined up to post this picture when the sparkly Christmas lights won the day, but I didn't want this guy to go unhugged!
@mrmilner I know! I said I was going to take a break for a while, but somehow I just can't get out of the habit of taking my camera with me and then once I have a picture it seems a shame not to post it...oh dear, maybe I'll never be able to stop!
I love the tree in need of a hug. And I don't consider it cheating if I use a photo taken any time in the last week or so! I often take several on one or two days, and then none for a day or two. I'm retired and at home most days, so what is there to photograph while putzing around at home?? Not much.
