What's Going On Here Then?

I took the dogs for a walk near Barton this morning (after driving one son with gashed knee to school and putting air in a flat tyre at the garage on my way home to he other son off sick with a stomach bug - I'm having a good week!). When we walked along this track a few days ago there was a row of trees. Someone has been in with a chainsaw and done some serious pruning. The dogs were a little confused and inspected all the logpiles. Snowy was dawdling along behind me so he didn't get in the picture today.
It always makes me a bit sad to see this. I'm sure some cutting back was needed but its another lost habitat. Sounds like you are seriously having a bit of a week!

Great shot! Very nice of that person to make a new interest for the dogs.

Hopefully there was a good reason to cut the trees down. That is a very neat hay stack/pyramid.

Hi Helen, just wanted to draw your attention to this. You have some lovely photos of your area.

Nice wintry shot - really like the different stacks of hay and logs.

Did you see Ross's call for photographers of East Anglia??

@miranda @Cherrill Thank you for pointing me towards this - I hadn't noticed it - I've just responded to Ross - I'll be watching that news programme!
