After a day in the library writing, I needed to stretch my legs. This is not me! This guy passed me as I was walking the three dogs in the opposite direction. He looked as if he'd run a looooong way. Meanwhile the sky was doing something very odd. Oppressive grey clouds were sitting on top of a rather misshapen stump of rainbow. It was a slightly disturbing effect, which I've tried to convey here with the focal black and white.
I just noticed this week's theme is hope, so will tag it - apart from the symbolism of a rainbow, I'm sure this guy hope's he'll be home soon for a hot shower.
