Snakeshead Fritillary by helenmoss

Snakeshead Fritillary

We have a beautiful clump of fritilleries growing through the grass under the lime tree at the edge of our drive - there's a pretty mix of purple and white ones - you can really see the snakeskin effect on the purple ones...almost as pretty as our other household reptile, Frankie, the bearded dragon.
They are pretty. And I am waiting because I have them in my garden too -)
