Whenever I get up close to photograph flowers, Maia naturally assumes I am bowing down to admire her loveliness. If she's feeling generous, she graces me with a soft-focus-gazing-dreamily-off-into-the-distance-pose before racing off to roll in fox poo or disembowel a dead rabbit. Or maybe even to work herself up into such a frenzy of territorial snarling when another collie DARED TO WALK NEAR OUR HOUSE that she actually made herself sick on our neighbour's drive (she was on the lead at the time). I tried my dog-whisperer act but a quick shh and a tap on the haunch just wasn't doing it. Oh, she may looks sweet, wafting around in the bluebells but you don't mess with this lady when the red mist comes down.
Obviously a girl who knows she is a very important member of the family ! She looks like a collie dog, if so only doing what comes naturally ! Great shot of bluebell too !
